'patent ~ Make Money From Your Ideas ~ patents'

My friend thought I had lost my mind when I decided to start researching how inventions get patented. My friend have always seen me as a little crazy, and I think they have a decent claim. It seems I am drawn to the weird and wonderful. Some of it is curiosity, but rest of it is just a love for something new. I like thinking ideas no one else has ever thought of before, even if they aren't the most sound or rational thoughts. People looked at me as though I had gone insane when I started filing for a patent for my invention.
Just because I wouldn't discuss it, it didn't keep my friends from offering their opinions. It's not that I feared them stealing my invention patents or something. I truly trust my friends, however I do not believe that projects should be discussed while I am working on them. I usually never managed to finish my project, once I start talking. My idea was that, once my patent was secure, I could go on and on about my invention until they were sick of hearing about it. Meanwhile, however, I wanted to be quiet.
Believe it or not patening an invention can be hard. There are numerous tasks involved in filing an invention patent. To begin with, you need to ascertain that no one else has designed something similar to yours, which isn't always easy. However, it just gets harder after that. Invention patents are easy if you're trained in drafting. It was, however, pretty difficult for me. Copious pages of graphs and charts are needed so you can
clearly and distinctly explain every aspect of how your invention works. There have to be a ton of patents that are not filed each year since the work to do so is so intense.
In the end, placing a patent on an invention is a wise decision. Making a great amount of money off of my invention is part of my dream, but that's not all there is to it. It would give me incredible joy to learn that something I invented was improving the quality of life for so many people. I think this, more than anything else, drives many of the great inventor. Patents have a history containing geniuses with an unnatural drive to try and 'invent' a better future.
