Article marketing is a type of advertising by writing short articles related to business' respective industry. Once written, the business makes these articles freely available for distribution and publication in the marketplace'
The articles once published are exposed to thousands of readers daily, not only from the site`s community but from the search engines and other referring links as well. Each article contains a bio box which includes references and contact information for the author's business, website, service or product. Well written content articles released for free distribution have the potential of gaining the author credibility within his or her market, as well as new clients. In shorter words, this is one of the greatest ways to promote your website/blog or business online using short, quality descriptive articles.
There are tons of article directories and websites that are always looking for article contributors. There are rumors that article marketing is not working anymore , well believe me my stats are showing that a lot of my traffic comes from the articles I write on different sites.
As nowadays bloggers don`t take blogging seriously, there are a lot of them just rushing for success and only thinking about increasing their monthly income. This is not the way to do it at all. People are not stupid to eat all junk that is posted on various blogs .

Sites like Hubpages, Ezinearticles or Squidoo, already have millions of daily visitors, traffic is generated automatically from the community itself and from the search engines. Either you want to get some traffic to your own service or a great product . Just think about gaining around 1 million hits in a few months just from one site and I am not exagerating at all. Think about having hundreds and even thousands of back links on a high page rank site. Below is a list of the sites, that I am a member of, and often publish articles on varios subjects.
