Or maybe you already have a subscriber list but would like to build on its membership size

There are lots of things you can do to make this happen.

Here are ten tips to increase your list size.

1) Why not setup joint ventures with website owners in areas that are related to yours but not competing. For example, if you sell information products to do with Yoga then you may want to look for other sites or companies that sell Yoga exercise equipment or relaxation products. Make sure they fully understand the advantages of working with you whenever you contact a potential partner with a view to growing your list.

2) PPC advertising can be used to great effect to get visitors to your opt-in page. Take a look at Google Adwords, Yahoo Advertiser Network, Microsoft Advertiser Network Beta, and Overture. One thing you need to remember is that PPC can be very costly if you are not sure what you are doing, so make sure you fully understand what you are getting yourself into.

3) Look for ways that you can integrate opt-in forms into your general website layout on each page. You could put a sign-up form on the sidebar menu of every page. Alternatively, add your opt-in form to the bottom of every page. This will allow your visitors to sign up for your list regardless of which page they arrive at.

4) Consider purchasing leads for your list. Whilst this method has become a little unpopular recently, it can still be effective if you can find high-quality leads. You can often get leads from list-building companies for less than $1.00 each. This can speed up the creation of your list significantly, especially if you deliver good information, giving your new leads a reason to spread the word.

5) A 'tell your friends' form can be a great way to bring in extra visitors. This enables your current visitors to send your list URL to their friends. Of course, you must provide a landing page that encourages the new visitors to join your site, but this is a good method of gaining new leads without having to buy them. This means you can use your list's resources to grow your list further.

6) Private label rights products can be used to create articles, short reports, e-books, eCourses and more. You can then add a link to your sign-up form in the articles resource box and submit them to article directories. You can also add links to your websites in the reports, e-books and courses then send them to your current list with giveaway rights or even for payment with master resell rights, this enables them to take on a life of their own and become viral in nature.

7) Use your forum signature to full effect by changing it to an advert for your newsletter. Make sure that the ad sounds interesting so that you encourage people to click. This way, whenever you take part in a forum an advert for your site will be seen be anyone readin the thread.

8) As well a forum signatures, you can change your email signature and freely tell people about your website everytime you send an email.

9) If you sell on eBay then you could place a link to your newsletter in your 'About Me' page. If you sell digital products such as ebooks or software and send them to your buyers in a zip file then you could add an extra file into the zipped file containing a shortcut to your opt in page. Call it 'Extras' to capture the buyers curiosity.

10) Of course, you don't just have to stick to online methods in a bid to build your list. You can put adverts in local shops, free advertising newspapers and magazines.

Happy, responsive and trusting subscribers; if used properly can be one of the most reliable ways of earning money online, as basically the bigger your list then the bigger your potential for making money and the bigger your exposure online could be.
